We love the Beckhams, and their ever-changing hairstyles! And now Harper is showing us her school look with gorgeous plaits.
Spotted in Chelsea, her beautiful, long hair was tied in two cute pigtail plaits. GlamourMagazine.co.uk recently posted an article on various plaits and braided hairstyles that are on-trend. We’re not sure why Harper wasn’t included! Click here to read the article.

That’s right…red carpet hair, that you can create at home! The new trend is the ‘shoulder sweep’ – a look Jerry Hall defined in the 1970s.
All you need to do, is, wait for it, sweep your hair over chosen shoulder. It couldn’t be any simpler.
Firstly, shampoo and condition your hair; clean hair is essential. We love Phyto Phytocitrus Vital Radiance Shampoo and Phyto Phytocitrus Vital Radiance Mask.
Next, use a heat protector treatment (why not try Phyto PhytoDefrisant Botanical Straightening Balm), then blow dry your hair. Once complete, use curling tongs to give your hair a lovely wave. Lastly, pull your hair over one shoulder, et voila!
It’s that time of the year where we are either looking forward to summer at home, festival season or holidaying abroad. And we want to look our very best, right?
Great Lengths posted their top five beach babe hairstyles, and we are totally in love! Want to see what they were? Click here. Braids, featuring twice in the article, have been super popular in the salon. To book an appointment for any of these hairstyles, contact 01702 330707.
Lily Allen has probably had every single hair colour possible…this time she is sporting the new denim colour trend on TV show Preston.
Matching her hair to the denim colour patch work dress she wore, Lily shared her political views during her TV appearance on Sunday. Loving the co-ordination!
To achieve a denim hair colour, we highly recommend going to a salon and not doing it on yourself at home (we’ve had lots of colour correction appointments to prove this!) Depending on your hair colour, we can give you anything from a stonewash light blue tone, all the way through to a deep dark blue-black colour. As with many tones of denim clothing, it can be possible to do with hair too.
Is your hair damaged from over-use of bleach? We have some great tips to help recover your locks.
Firstly, book in for a cut and snip off those dead ends! This is a must.
Try your best not to use heated tools on your hair – steer clear of straightening irons and curling tongs, and let your hair dry naturally after you wash it.
Invest in shampoo, conditioner and a hair treatment specifically for damaged hair. We love Phyto Phytokeratine Extreme Shampoo (£15.50), Phyto Phytokeratine Extreme Cream Conditioner (£26.50) and Phyto Phytokeratine Extreme Hair Mask (£36) all of which we retail in the salon.
At Pierre & James we use the softest bleach to minimise any damage to your hair when dying blonde, and also offer free consultations on colour corrections. Call us for further information or to book in with one of our experienced stylists.
We have been working on new images for our salon, so thought we’d give you guys a sneak peek.
Our Artistic Director, Adrian, and Salon Manager, Tasha, were on shoot cutting and styling our models hair – we love the creativity! Tasha also teamed up with Sam from the Essex Wig Centre to work on the models’ make up. We can’t wait to see Cinsy, the photographer’s, work. Watch this space!
