Lock of David Bowie’s hair to be auctioned off

A lock of David Bowie’s hair is to be auctioned off this week, and is expected to go for around £3,000.

Heritage Auctions says David Bowie’s hair will go on the block as part of an auction in Beverly Hills, California. A former employee at Madame Tussauds in London kept a section of Bowie’s hair when she created a wig in the 1980s for his waxwork figure. Heritage said she kept it as a souvenir.
