Jaden Smith takes his old dreadlocks as his date to this year’s Met Gala

Because his sister, Willow, couldn’t go along with him. Yep.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s son Jaden turned up to the prestigious annual fashion fundraising event in New York complete with a mouth full of gold grills with matching chunky gold jewellery.

But what everyone was talking about was his fistful of hair that he carried with him, which his dad had cut off for him a few weeks earlier. Will said Jaden’s haircut is in preparation for his new movie role alongside Cara Delevingne in Life In A Year.

The Fresh Prince legend wrote on social media site Facebook: “Getting Jaden Smith ready for the first day of filming #LifeInAYear… maybe I should’ve used scissors?!”

Yak hair used for Donald Trump’s waxwork at Madame Tussauds

Yep, you read that right – a yak. We had to look up what they were too. They’re huge beasts found throughout the Himalaya region of southern Central Asia, and look like this:

The guys at Madame Tussauds in London decided on yak hair as the best option for Donald Trump’s waxwork and have been beavering away since the businessman-turned-politician won the US election just a few days ago.
